Attendance at the Directed Energy Systems Symposium and its short courses is limited to U.S. citizens who are employees of the U.S. Government or its contractors and who hold the necessary security clearance and/or need-to-know. All sessions of the Systems Symposium have participation requirements and will include a mix of unclassified and classified sessions. The highest level of classified information to be presented at the 2026 DE Systems Symposium will be SECRET/NOFORN.
These restrictions will be enforced according to the following categories:
- Distribution C: Access will be authorized for U.S. Government agencies and their contractors only.
- Distribution D: Access will be limited to Department of War (DoW) personnel and DoW contractors only.
In accordance with U.S. government security protocols, all participants must undergo a thorough vetting process conducted by the DEPS Facility Security Officer (FSO). Only individuals who meet the necessary security requirements will be granted access to the conference sessions.
Due to government security regulations, this event is closed to foreign participation. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these requirements.
For further information or if you have any questions regarding the vetting process or access, you can contact the DEPS FSO, Heather Chacon, at security@deps.org.
* Registered exhibit staff who are not attending the technical sessions do not have to meet these security requirements but must register.
