Next Generation Active Denial Technology Prototype Update
Active Denial Technology (ADT) provides warfighters the capability of stopping and repelling individuals or a group of individuals with minimal risk of injury via directed energy of high power W-band electromagnetic waves. Solid-State Active Denial Technology (SSADT) enables smaller size, lighter weight, and more operationally suitable active denial systems. This brief will provide an overview of the next generation family of compact SSADT system prototype and various applications. The progress of the development of scalable submodule and module will be discussed. Next generation ADT which will enable easy integration on various platforms and provide multi-mission operations to address Gray Zone competition while remaining below the threshold of armed conflict.
