Detailed Agenda Location & Accommodations Registration & Fees Companions Contacts The Advanced High-Power Lasers meeting consisted of two key note speakers, a series of technical presentations in the Annual Solid State and Diode Laser Technology Review, and an included short course, Introduction to High Power Fiber Lasers. This Fifth Annual AHPL was held on 6-8 May 2014 in Baltimore, Maryland and was be co-located with the SPIE DSS 2014. Persons registered for the AHPL were allowed to attend the SPIE DSS technical sessions at no additional cost.
Program Highlights
The technical sessions of the AHPL were held on Tuesday and Wednesday, 6-7 May. SPIE DSS events ran all week and were included with AHPL registration. Location and Accommodations Technical sessions of the Advanced High Power Lasers meeting were held at the Baltimore Convention Center located at One West Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
Your registration includes attendance at technical sessions and the short course, a copy of the proceedings, attendance at Wednesday evening reception, and breakfast snacks, lunch, and break refreshments. Registrants may join DEPS for $40 at registration and qualify for membership registration fees. Note that some technical sessions are restricted; only qualified registrants will be allowed to attend such sessions. See Security below. Note: SPIE registrants who plan to attend Limited Distribution sessions of the AHPL must submit a visit request according to the instructions below. In addition, SPIE registrants can register for the Review of Laser Weapon System Design short course, to be held Wednesday afternoon starting at 1300, for a price of $240. Please contact Tiffany at DEPS to register for the short course. Registration Registration is no longer possible for this event. Persons requesting cancellation through 7 April will receive a full refund. Cancellations after 7 April are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. There will be no refunds after 1 May.
