Agenda Security Location Registration Monterey Weather The Directed Energy Professional Society (DEPS) recognizes a need within the Directed Energy (DE) community for more formal and extended collaborations than are fostered by periodic conferences and symposia. DEPS intends to meet this need by establishing and nurturing committees of members interested in specific topical areas. The topic area chosen for the initial effort is directed energy effects. The draft revised Committee Charter is available for review. The Charter is subject to review and approval by the DEPS Board of Directors. The minutes and other information from previous Committee meetings are available on this web page. Access to this page is password controlled. Committee members have been given the username and password. The next Directed Energy Effects Committee meeting will be held on the evening of 12 April in Monterey, California, co-located with the Directed Energy Systems Symposium. The meeting will be from 1900-2100 and will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, in rooms Regency I-III. For additional information on accommodations, see accommodations for the Systems Symposium. You must register independently for the Committee meeting. Registration is open below. Participation is limited; see Security just below. Participation in the DE Effects Committee and its meetings is open only to U.S. citizens who are employees of the U.S. Government or its contractors. Registrants for the Directed Energy Systems Symposium will satisfy the security arrangements for the Committee meeting in Monterey. Only someone who wishes to participate in the DE Effects Committee meeting and who is not registered for the Symposium must follow the instructions below. Government employees will be admitted upon presentation of their CAC card or other government employee photo identification. Employees of U.S. Government contractors must either present a CAC card or submit a visit request. The request must (1) be on company letterhead, (2) be signed by your company FSO or your immediate supervisor, (3) identify you by name as a company employee, (4) state your citizenship, (5) include your social security number, and (6) state that you have a valid need for access to the information to be presented at this meeting.
